Delta County Economic Development (DCED) is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit membership organization working in partnership with public and private sectors to strengthen and diversify the economy of Delta County, Colorado. DCED takes leadership on county and region-wide issues to enhance our economy and community.  


WHY DELTA COUNTY, CO

Live, work, play is a great theme for Delta County. Primary job diversification is a priority of DCED and with great schools, affordability, open skies, endless recreational activities, strong work ethic, and State/Local business incentives, we are creating a climate of success and balance that individuals and businesses are seeking.  

DCED also promotes local business start up and expansion through navigation of State and Federal Grants aimed at job creation. Collaboration with a number of local organizations including Chambers of Commerce, Small Business Resource Center as well as local government have allowed continued expansion of DCED's scope of work and support of local business.

The cornerstone of great membership organizations are the strength of its members.  Through a collaboration of Public and Private sector organizations and individuals, DCED's board of directors as well as its membership has positioned the organization to take the lead in development activities in the county.  DCED membership offers a wide range of benefits and as a 501(c) 3 organization, all membership funds are tax deductible and include state tax credit associated with an Enhanced Rural Enterprize Zone.
