Delta County Economic Development (DCED) is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit membership organization working in partnership with public and private sectors to strengthen and diversify the economy of Delta County, Colorado. DCED takes leadership on county and region-wide issues to enhance our economy and community.  Through the leadership of staff and board, DCED has become the leading non-government agency boosting all of Delta County and it various economic sectors.

Live, work, play is a great theme for Delta County. We have a climate to create and the freedom to grow. Primary job diversification is a priority of DCED. With great schools, affordability, open skies, endless recreational activities, strong work ethic, fresh opportunities and State/Local business incentives, we are creating opportunities for success and balance that individuals and businesses are seeking.  

Collaboration with a number of local organizations including Chambers of Commerce, Small Business Resource Center as well as local government have allowed continued expansion of DCED's scope of work and support of local business.

The cornerstone of great membership organizations are the strength of its members.  Through a collaboration of Public and Private sector organizations and individuals, DCED's volunteer board of directors as well as its membership has positioned the organization to take the lead in development activities in the county.  DCED membership offers a wide range of benefits and as a 501(c) 3 organization, all membership funds are tax deductible and include state tax credit associated with an Enhanced Rural Enterprize Zone.
